Christmas Art Exhibition

Saturday 12 of December 10 am to 8 pm.

Christmas Art exhibition and sale with the participation of over 30 artists.

Party from 7 pm

From the 16 of December until Christmas there's a 'posada'. A posada is a catholic tradition and it  consists of a re-enactment of the look for lodging  of Mary and Joseph before the birth of  Baby Jesus. Piñatas are an important part of this tradition. A classic piñata has seven colourful spikes; these represent the Seven Deadly Sins so people have to try to brake the piñata and with this break up the sins. People have to try to break the piñatas blindfolded as this represent faith and faith in god must be blind.

These days however posadas are a series of parties for people to come together before Christmas.  This is what we intend to have at Chalton Gallery; to have fun and have the opportunity to see you before the end of the year. So do join us this 12 of December from 12 until late.

Come and break traditional Mexican Piñatas.
